Last updated 24 August 2026. Perka is a loyalty platform used by Australian small businesses.
What we collect
When you join a loyalty programme we store your first name and, only if you choose to give them, your email address, phone number and birthday (day and month). We also store your flower balance, rewards and visit history for that business.
Why we collect it
Your name and balance let staff recognise your card at the counter. Contact details are optional and are used so authorised staff of that business can help you find your card again if you lose the link.
Marketing
Marketing messages are never sent unless you tick the marketing consent box yourself. It is never pre-ticked and is never required to take part in a loyalty programme. You can withdraw consent at any time from your card page — this stops marketing only, and never removes your card, flowers or rewards.
Who can see your information
Only the business you joined, and its authorised staff, can see your record. One business can never see another business’s customers. Ordinary staff see only partially hidden contact details. Public card links show only your first name, balance, reward progress and the business’s own branding.
Your card link
Your card is protected by a long, private link. Anyone with that link can see the card, so treat it like a wallet pass. If you lose it, staff can issue a replacement in person, which retires the old link.
Deleting your information
You can request deletion from your card page. Once actioned, your name and contact details are permanently removed. Anonymised transaction records are retained where required for the business’s record keeping.
Contact
For privacy questions, contact the business you joined, or Perka at perkaadmin@gmail.com.
